Randy Travis and Wife Divorce,Country singer Randy Travis and his wife-manager Elizabeth Travis have made their divorce final, reports AP.
The couple issued a statement saying Elizabeth would still be above personal manager Travis. The statement also called for “respect their privacy during this time.”
The couple have been known for 34 years. They met in the mid 1970′s when a teenager Travis won a talent contest in a nightclub in Charlotte, North Carolina, owned by Elizabeth. The two married in 1991.
With the guidance of Elizabeth, Travis has sold millions of records and has won more than two dozen major awards, including six Grammy awards. His last Grammy came this year when he won Best Country Collaboration for her duet “I Told You So” with Carrie Underwood.
